Our storyUpdated 10 months ago

Our founders

Hannah started the brand in 2012. She is passionate about women in the workforce, inclusivity, body positivity, and the functionality of women’s clothing. Staying true to her values, Hannah has built a team of strong women, a thriving business, and a cohort of loyal and valued customers.

Our team

Our clothing is made in-house at our studio in Cape Town. The skilled production team is made up of dedicated, compassionate and strong women who produce the garments you love.

Mission and values

We are dedicated to these three concepts:

Versatility - that each piece can be styled in numerous ways and paired with various other items in the range

Longevity - that they can last in your wardrobe because they are carefully made out of high quality fabrics and not tied to trends.

Kindness

  • To our team, by creating an environment that is stable and nurturing - both with our in house team and our suppliers.
  • To our customers, by providing consistent, personalized and caring service.
  • To our bodies, by using plant based fibers that let skin breathe.
  • To our planet, by reducing waste and, where possible, choosing fabrics that can biodegrade.
  • To our community, by choosing to produce locally and to support local suppliers.

What we want to give our customers is the ability to look and feel amazing, without expending too much energy in the process.

We offer a wardrobe that customers can trust because we have done the work for them.

We  do this by creating a complete wardrobe in neutral tones and based on classic shapes.

We feel passionate about the fact that not everything looks good on everybody. We strive to continuously simplify the process of finding pieces that are uniquely right for you and to remind ourselves to not take the moments too seriously when things just don’t look good. We advocate for finding the humour and the fun in clothing choices.
